We are on the lookout for:

Job vacancy: Kitchen Helper

Your responsibility will be to receive and store food and other supplies, prepare the vegetables, and perform cleaning tasks under supervision to support the kitchen staff in the preparation of meals

In this role you will:

• Help in the preparation of ingredients required for meal;
• Wash all kitchenware on a continuous basis;
• Clean and keep dining room and kitchen environment to the highest hygiene standards, including the kitchen area, apparatus, store and freezer;
• Help in dining room set up;
• Ensure strict adherence to customer service standard;
• Gain greater exposure to relevant techniques and processes for enhancing proficiency.

 To succeed, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies:

• Rebounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations;
• Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances;
• Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of

• A minimum of SC certificate and/or Professional qualification in Restaurant and Bar Services; 
• 3 years of working experience in Hotel/Restaurant/Bar environment/Catering field;
• A valid Food Handlers certificate. (External only)
