Sports Officer

The main responsibilities of the job incumbent will be to: • Entertains members/guests by conducting, animating and participating in various sports activities of the Club • Organises and provides services to members/guests at the sports / fitness centre

MAIN DUTIES:

• Entertain members/guests by conducting, animating, and participating in various sports activities of the Club
• Organises and provides services for members/guests at the sports / fitness centre according to Club standards and procedures
• Plan activities, games, and order necessary supplies at least one week prior
• Ensure participants are active as possible during the program
• Take charge of group from beginning to end, learning names, talking to participants about their need, desires, and fears about the program
• Encourage participants in social adjustments, desirable habits and attitudes, and individual achievements
• Keep area clean, neat, and organised, including grounds and bathrooms
• Report any maladjusted or criminal behaviour that might damage individuals or the reputation of the Club to your supervisor including reporting any suspected wrongdoing
• Maintain effective and cordial guest relations and advise members/guests on programs, equipment, and safety issues to achieve service excellence
• Oversee the opening and closing of the sports / fitness centre and any other access at the Fitness Centre area, as per established operating time
• Test and verify all equipment of the sports / fitness centre to ensure their proper functioning
