Junnior Draughtsman (HVAC) - Tornado Ltd

To assist with the design shop and ‘as built’ drawings

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Main Duties

• Produce accurate shop drawings for HVAC installations according to industry standards
• Relay detailed information in plan, elevation, and sectional view
• Interpret architectural and designer drawings
• Conduct surveys on site as and when required
• Obtain and analyse site dimensions

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical certificate or diploma in draftsmanship
• Fully conversant with AutoCAD 2D & 3D/ Revit
• At least five years of proven experience in a similar position in a contracting environment
• Conversant with all different design techniques related to the discipline in producing as-made, construction and shop drawings

• Self-organizer with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work within tight deadlines
• Ability to manage work on more than one project simultaneously
