Role Description:
We are currently looking for new motivated and curious talents with a first experience as Technician, and the desire to join a structure where your development is our priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and fix both mechanical and electronic issues promptly.
- Install, service, and repair slot machines, roulettes, and other gaming equipment
- Carry out regular preventive maintenance to keep machines in good working condition.
- Respond quickly to any floor calls or equipment breakdowns.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs done.
- Make sure all work complies with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist during the installation, configuration, or movement of machines.
- Work closely with the Technical, IT, and Surveillance teams to maintain reliability and performance.
- Follow all safety, security, and confidentiality procedures
Profile:
- Good knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals is important for effective troubleshooting and connectivity of gaming equipment and may be partly integrated with the IT team for overall diagnostics across the gaming and intranet networks.
- Familiarity with slot and roulette systems and cashless gaming technology.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform minor component-level repairs.
- Atleast 2 years of practical experience in electronics, electrical maintenance, or a related field.
- Experience working with slot machines and roulettes will be a definite advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Professional, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
- Holder of a valid driving license is a must.
- Ability to be on standby 24 hours a day in case of emergency or urgent requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum School Certificate (SC) or Higher School Certificate (HSC).
- A recognised qualification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, such as:
- National Certificate Level 4 (NC4) in Consumer, Communication, or Industrial Electronics (MQA-approved).
- National Certificate Level 5 (NC5) in Communication or Industrial Electronics.
- National Diploma (Level 6) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- LV2 Diploma in Engineering IVQ – Electrical and Electronics Technology from the School of Electronics, or any equivalent MQA-approved course.
Or
- Minimum School Certificate (SC) or equivalent.
- A technical course or certificate in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics from a recognised training institution (e.g., MITD, School of Electronics, or other MQA-approved centres).
- Candidates with hands-on experience in electronic repairs or gaming equipment servicing will also be considered, even if they do not hold formal diplomas.
