Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa is looking for an experienced HR Executive
DUTIES
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes of local and international candidates
- Manage proactively all recruitment platforms.
- Coordinate employment and residence visa, renewals, medicals along with Local authorities
- Planning and conducting interviews proactively, doing reference checks, making offers and drafting of contract of employment.
- Familiar and experienced in expat permit process with all local authorities, booking of expat tickets
- Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the HR operations.
- Responsible for the complete employee lifecycle.
- Responsible for scheduling an attending meetings, interviews, HR and CSR events and activities.
- Develop job descriptions, shortlist, interview and select candidates, prepare personal files of new starters
- Perform orientations and onboarding process for all newcomers and update accurate records of new staff.
- Assist with employee relation issues in the hotel while observing confidentiality, including disciplinary, grievances
- Ensure compliance with all HR legislation and keep up to date with changes to local authorities.
- Handle all disciplinary matters including dismissal, termination and other Grievance Complaints received
- Develop policies on issues such as working conditions, Performance Management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and Absence Management.
- Budget preparation for the financial year and ensuring adherence to approved budget
- Be aware and follow the Health & Safety at Work Act and comply with the hotel’s Health & Safety policy.
- Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management.
- Assist in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in HR roles (preferably in Hospitality sector).
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software (AGV Vipertex, Sicorax HRMS), Material Control and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
