We are seeking a Fleet Logistics & Planning Coordinator to join its vibrant Operations Department. This pivotal position ensures the flawless coordination of vehicles, drivers, and guides across all operations, embodying our values of efficiency, reliability, and quality service.
The Fleet Logistics & Planning Coordinator will support the Operations Manager in managing and optimizing daily transport logistics for transfers, excursions, inter-hotel movements, group operations, pick-ups and drop-offs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, allocate, and coordinate vehicles, drivers, and guides efficiently for all operational requirements.
Ensure all activities are executed in line with Emotions’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), with punctuality and quality as top priorities.
Optimise daily planning to minimise idle time, ensure productivity, and reduce operational costs.
Ensure vehicles meet the company’s branding, safety, and presentation standards at all times.
Respond promptly and make sound decisions that safeguard both service quality and company reputation.
Ensure all team members uphold company grooming, behavior, and customer service standards.
Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, fairness, and accountability.
Conduct regular quality monitoring and feedback sessions with the operations team.
Ensure clear internal communication between airport operations, excursions, and logistics teams.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Proven experience in logistics, transport coordination, or tourism operations.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to think quickly and find practical solutions under pressure.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
Computer literacy and familiarity with planning or operational software.
A valid and clean driving licence for car.
Strong communication skills, diplomacy, and reliability.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when operations require.
Knowledge of Mauritian geography and key routes for efficient planning.
