Role Summary
Senior Network Engineer overseeing enterprise network, storage, compute, and virtualization infrastructure for large-scale mining operations. Experienced in designing secure, resilient systems across distributed sites with strong hands-on expertise in Cisco, VMware, Veeam, and enterprise storage solutions.
Storage/Compute: Dell PowerStore, Dell Compellent, HPE Nimble, NetApp ONTAP, SANtricity
Migration/Design: Storage & compute migration, SAN zoning, replication, datacenter consolidation
Virtualisation: VMware vSphere 7/8, vCenter, ESXi, HA/DRS, vSAN, SRM, ARIA, VLAN
Backup/DR: Veeam Backup & Replication, SOBR, immutability, Veeam ONE, Enterprise Manager
Monitoring: SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, VMware ARIA
Architect and manage enterprise-grade network infrastructure (Cisco Nexus, ASA, Firepower, SD-WAN).
Configure L2/L3 networks, OSPF/BGP routing, and secure segmentation for remote sites.
Lead firewall cutovers, WAN migrations, and datacenter network redesigns.
Ensure high availability and connectivity across multi-region operations.
Troubleshoot complex issues across network, storage, and compute environments.
Monitor infrastructure performance with SolarWinds; administer Linux and Windows systems.
Provide on-call/after-hours support for mission-critical infrastructure.
Technical: Cisco (Nexus, ASA, Firepower, NX-OS, IOS-XE), SD-WAN, routing protocols, Riverbed, Citrix Netscaler ADC, enterprise backup, storage, virtualization, Linux/Windows administration.
