We're looking for a reliable and proactive Supply Chain Clerk join our team at Berque Ltée.
Main responsibilities:
- Optimise procurement by securing value-added deals through effective negotiation, focusing on service quality and cost efficiency.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to establish strategic partnerships and enhance the supply network.
- Conduct regular meetings, site visits, and rigorous follow-ups to ensure strict supplier compliance with company standards; escalate any non-compliance promptly.
- Drive cost savings and reductions through strategic sourcing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Finalise purchase orders and delivery arrangements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare invoices and packing lists for export orders, including cross-trade transactions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify specifications and align expectations.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated sites, avoiding delays and disruptions.
- Assess and recommend optimal shipping methods, routes, and carriers based on cost, specifications, and delivery parameters.
- Negotiate freight and supplier rates to maximise value and maintain budget targets.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in procurement or supply chain functions will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with vendor management processes.
- In-house training will be provided.

- Proficient in written and spoken English and French.
