You’ll help the sourcing team make sure the company has the materials it needs, when it needs them, without keeping too much in stock.
What is the role about?
We’re looking for a motivated individual to support our sourcing operations and help keep our supply chain running smoothly. In this role, you’ll ensure that materials and services are available when needed, while keeping inventory levels efficient. You’ll work closely with internal teams to monitor inventory requests, production schedules, and purchase needs, coordinating procurement activities to meet both current and future demand. You’ll also liaise with suppliers, gather quotations, evaluate bids, and select partners who meet our standards for cost, quality, and timely delivery. What you are expected to do:
- Manage all phases of product onboarding, supplier integration, and process improvement projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and implement integrations that meet quality standards.
- Analyze data to identify root causes of issues and define effective solutions.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates, documentation, and strategic insights.
- Manage and load vendor catalogs to support business growth.
- Prioritize customer needs and ensure supplier engagement aligns with business objectives.
- Work within defined KPIs and SOPs to design and execute integration strategies.
- Collaborate with MasterData, Compliance, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate project activities.
- Map external customer, supplier, and material data to SAP Avantor systems.
- Support integration outcomes and ensure timely execution of ongoing projects.
- Participate in negotiations and assist stakeholders in developing integration approaches.
- Provide domain expertise in project management and SAP functionality.
- Define project requirements, create test cases, and execute testing in SAP and web platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial field (Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Logistics, MasterData)
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Advanced functional knowledge of SAP
