What You’ll Be Doing:

Responsible for the timely and accurate order entry:

  • Provide guidance to the associates, based on management direction and assist them in their daily task.
  • Create an environment oriented to open communications, creative thinking, motivation, cohesive team effort and workplace trust.
  • Perform regularly team meetings with the associates
  • Review regularly the team results to improve continuously the team performance
  • Provide trainings on request for the associates
  • Coordinate and review together with the European contacts the team performance.

Daily business function:

  • Read and understand the client requirements (Article, Price, Quantity, etc) mentioned on the customer order in the European language (French/ German/ Italian/ Spanish)
  • Review of the customer instructions to make sure all the customer requirements (Shipping mode & dates, Inco terms, etc.) are met.
  • Generate Sales Order in SAP system by capturing and entering the customer requirements.
  • The individual will be responsible for coordinating and sourcing information from other departments (VWR Internal), to resolve any discrepancy occurring in Sales order generation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • A graduate degree (BSc)
  • Fluency in German is important for this role, as it will support effective communication with clients and partners in German-speaking regions.
  • Leadership experience could be a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work pro-actively, accurately, individually and also as a team member.
  • A good team player to ensure the team achieves it goals and objectives.
  • Experience in ERP application (SAP etc), Lotus Notes and MS Office (Word and Excel) are a plus
  • Ability to coordinate actions across various functions and drive results.
