To clean, supply and provide services for guest rooms, suites, guest corridors, garden borders as per the hotel standards, this is an outline and is not limited to the mentioned and may require adjustments in duty as the operation demands.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To attend duty on time in correct uniform and well groomed.
- Attend daily briefing at the beginning of each shift.
- Be fully trained on resort standards and procedures required to carry out daily tasks.
- To follow the resorts key control policy
- Proceed to HSK office to receive the task sheet for the day.
- Use and maintain all chemicals, supplies and equipment as per resort standards.
- Clean all guest corridors pertaining to the section, garden borders, empty ashtrays, ensure wet floors are dry when raining
- Fill pantries with necessary par level of linen.
- Clean, replenish the linen in guest rooms as per resort standards.
- Clear and clean the pantry, empty garbage, bring down the soil linen .
- Prepare the “cleaning Service bag “for the next day.
- Carry out and complete daily task control sheet.
- Carry out and complete all daily assigned tasks as per resort standards.
- Report malfunctioning tools, incidents, and guest room issues correctly to supervisor as per resort standards.
- Report lost and found articles as per resort standards.
- Report in-room safe issues as per resort standards and policies.
- Report unusual guest behavior or activities as per resort standards.
- Have thorough knowledge of the layout of the guest rooms and corridors, and all HK storage spaces with what they hold.
- Follow resort health and safety policies and procedures.
- Attend training when required by the department and resort.
- Carry out any other job related duties when requested by your immediate Manager/HOD.
- Work as scheduled to a rotating roster will include morning shift, afternoon and evening shift and overnight shifts, this will also include weekends and public holidays ( as per Mauritian Law ).
About You
The desired qualifications for this role are at least a School Certificate and a National Certificate Level 3 in any given field. The ideal candidate should at least have 2 years of experience in the same role in an international ultra-luxury resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French. The candidate should have the physical capabilities to be able to do consistently do reasonable lifting, moving bending raising of arms, and be on your feet for majority of duty.
