The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue, profit, and market share through the development and implementation of effective pricing, distribution, and inventory management strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room rates, occupancy, and overall revenue.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly hotel performance against forecasts and budgets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to adjust pricing strategies.
  • Forecast room revenue and demand to support budgeting and long-term planning.
  • Manage distribution channels (OTA, GDS, brand website, direct booking, etc.) to ensure rate parity and maximize visibility.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
  • Identify and target high-yield customer segments to increase profitability.
  • Prepare revenue reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Lead weekly revenue meetings and communicate performance insights to key stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with brand standards, corporate policies, and best practices in revenue management.

Must Have:

At least 3 to 4 years experience in the same position in Hotel Industry.
