Our client in the consulting services is seeking to recruit a dynamic Receptionist.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers, guests, and service providers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage incoming calls, transfer to appropriate staff, and take accurate messages.
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure security procedures are followed.
- Handle general inquiries (in person, by phone, or email), and provide basic company information.
- Receive, log and distribute incoming mail/couriers; arrange outgoing dispatch.
- Assist in booking meeting rooms, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with staff.
- Maintain front desk registers, contact lists, and filing systems.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and stocked with necessary materials (forms, brochures, etc.)
- Supervise and manage the office/mess attendant, ensuring responsibilities are carried out and office premises remain clean and tidy.
Profile:
- Minimum School Certificate.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good communication skills in both oral and written English and French.
- Strong organisation and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment (telephone systems, photocopiers, scanners, etc,).
- Trustworthy, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling company information.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in all tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with administrative and operational teams.
- Represent the company positively by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
