We’re seeking a talented and self-driven Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and innovation of heavy equipment systems. This role offers hands-on experience across diverse mechanical domains.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, servicing and repairs in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and battery systems
•Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic controls, with a focus on lithium and lead-acid battery technologies.
•Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
•Maintain detailed service logs and manage spare parts inventory.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams and uphold company quality procedures.
•Support the commissioning of new equipment and provide technical input during procurement or upgrades.
•Collaborate with operations teams to minimize equipment downtime and improve workflow efficiency.
•Supervise and mentor junior technicians when required.
•Prepare technical documentation, reports, and maintenance logs

Qualification & Competencies:
•Minimum HSC or equivalent with a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent.
•NC3/NC4 in Tractor & Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (MITD) would be an advantage
•NC3 in Industrial Machine Maintenance (MITD) would be an advantage
•3–5 years of hands-on experience with logistics-related equipment (e.g., forklifts, trucks, conveyors).
•Strong knowledge of hydraulics, welding, diagnostics, and mechanical systems.
•Familiarity with transport logistics.
•Ability to interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
•Valid driving license and understanding of safety protocols preferred.
•Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
