Emcar Energy is looking for a dynamic and passionate person to join our amazing team as Sales Executive and to assist in the daily operations.
KEY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
The Sales Executive - Energy Department is responsible for supporting the operational and commercial functions of the segment, with a primary focus on driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting technical project delivery. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen and coordination skills to achieve profitability targets, optimize logistics and contribute to the department’s long-term success.

Sales & Business Development
- Actively participate in developing and increasing growth opportunities in line with the company’s vision and objectives.
- Follow up on projects and expand sales of the Energy segment by working closely with the Marketing department.
- Sell to new prospects as well as maintain and develop existing customer relationships to ensure high renewal and satisfaction levels.
- Measure performance using indicators such as new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, upselling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to the team’s overall success.
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
- Bring and develop new product lines supporting sales growth.
Technical & Project Support
- Supervise the installation, ensuring on time delivery, within the allocated budget and to the required standards.
- Diagnose and resolve faults related to Energy products and associated control systems.
- Provide support to the after-sales service team with troubleshooting on electronic control systems when required.
- Supervise the Energy technicians to carry out Energy segment projects and deliver quality service to internal and external customers.
- Match customer requirements to proposed solutions and effectively communicate customer needs for future product enhancements.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Maintain strong communication and engagement with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Promote learning and knowledge sharing across the team and other business units.
- Take part in organising events, demonstrations and related initiatives that support business development and team engagement.
Administrative & Reporting
- Conduct all administrative tasks attached to the position using the designated systems and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports to Management as and when required.
Training, Learning & Development
- Participate in any Learning & Development opportunities offered by the company.
Others
- Perform all duties strictly in line with the company’s policies and procedures and on the designated systems.
- Perform any cognate duties as may be assigned by Management.
Qualification & Experience
- HSC or equivalent
- Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
- Sales and Management related certification would be considered as an advantage.
- At least 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role in fast paced environment
- Technical know-how of generators, solar panels and EV chargers would be an added advantage.
- Pleasant and outgoing personality
- Ready to work odd hours if required
- Clean Certificate of Character is a must.
