Electromechanical Technician

Created in 1989 and a member of CIEL Textile, CDL is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill located in Forest Side. With a workforce of 300, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry.

CDL is currently looking for an Electromechanical Technician shall be reporting to the Industrial Automation Engineer.

What you will be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair automated industrial machinery (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, robotics).
• Support troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues through diagnostics, testing, and interpretation of schematics.
• Collaborate with the project team to design, install, and commission new automation systems.
• Assist in the fabrication, wiring, and testing of new control panels and electrical systems.
• Train machine operators and other maintenance staff on the proper use and basic care of automated equipment.

What we are looking for:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Mechatronics (Electromechanical) Engineering, or equivalent.
• Candidate should have good knowledge of PLCs, Microcontrollers, sensors and industrial control components.
• Candidate should have strong proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
• Candidate should have good troubleshooting skills and methodical approach.
