Indoor Salesgirl

The Indoor Salesgirl is responsible for assisting customers within the store or showroom, promoting products, processing sales transactions, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products.
  • Provide detailed information about products, pricing, and promotions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.

• Sales & Promotion

  • Promote and upsell products to meet individual and team sales targets.
  • Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers.
  • Encourage repeat business through excellent service and follow-up.

• Inventory & Merchandising

  • Ensure shelves and displays are stocked and well-organized.
  • Assist in inventory checks and stock replenishment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of the sales area.

• Transaction Handling

  • Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
  • Issue receipts, handle returns, and manage exchanges as per company policy.

• Reporting

  • Record daily sales and customer feedback.
  • Report any issues or suggestions to the supervisor or store manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum secondary school education; diploma in sales or retail is a plus.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
