The Team Manager – Business Development leads and motivates a team to drive sales growth, expand the client base, set targets, and ensure client satisfaction while identifying new market opportunities and building strong stakeholder relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist the Division Manager - Customer Innovation in the elaboration and implementation of the business plan of SIL.
- To seek new business for the organisation mainly from Government bodies/Para- Statal/Private organisations in areas of ICT solution development and maintenance, as well as consultancy and achieve sales targets.
- To prepare business proposals, devise the right commercial offers for SIL‘s products and services and help in the finalization of contracts.
- To prepare yearly Sales budget with the collaboration of other Managers.
- To develop Sales strategies to meet the sales budget.
- To prepare monthly Sales Report for Management.
- To perform market research as and when required and build market intelligence.
- To maintain the Sales and Marketing systems, Websites, Documentation and Marketing Literatures.
- To perform any other related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A degree in the area of ICT or Sales and Marketing or any other acceptable qualifications to the Board with a minimum of 7 years’ experience qualification in a relevant field with 2 years’ experience in a team lead position or equivalent at project management level.
A master’s Degree would be an advantage.
