Our client in the medical sector is seeking to recruit a Billing and Admin Officer who will be responsible for overseeing billing processes, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
Billing & Finance:
- Generate and issue accurate invoices to patients, insurance providers, and third-party payers.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile daily collections and maintain proper cash and banking records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and data for audits or management review.
- Ensure compliance with billing procedures and relevant healthcare regulations.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain patient records, appointment schedules, and other clinic databases.
- Support front-desk operations: greet patients, answer phones, manage inquiries.
- Order and manage office and medical supplies inventory.
- Coordinate staff meetings, maintain minutes, and organize clinic documentation.
- Liaise with service providers and manage vendor relationships.
Profile:
- HSC.
- Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field would be an advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting.
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Familiarity with medical billing systems and health insurance processes is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
