Electrician / Electrical Engineer

Bayon International is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our team. Will be responsible for overseeing the installation of residential and commercial PV solar systems in Mauritius, as well as providing after-sales service, troubleshooting, and maintenance support.

Bayon International is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation of residential and commercial PV solar systems in Mauritius, as well as providing after-sales service, troubleshooting, and maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with the installation of PV solar systems (residential and commercial).

• Conduct electrical connections, testing, and commissioning of systems.

• Provide after-sales support, including diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and company procedures.

• Participate in Bayon’s September training program to upskill on solar PV systems.

• Maintain clear records of work performed and communicate effectively with clients and management.

Requirements

• Proven experience with residential electrical installations.

• Certification or diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent.

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

• Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).

• Valid driver’s license is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
