Draughtsman (2534-DM)

Our client, one of the leaders in the local woodworking market, is seeking a Draughtsman to join its Home Furniture department. The incumbent will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs for a wide range of bespoke and production furniture pieces.

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software/ SketchUp.
• Producing accurate technical drawings from sketches and design concepts.
• Collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure designs are feasible to manufacture.
• Maintain accurate drawing records and files.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Profile:

• HSC.
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the wooden furniture industry.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in operating CAD software.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
