As part of the ongoing expansion of the company, we are looking for an Operations Accountant to join our Mauritian office, located in Ebene. The objective of the Operations Accountant is to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our operational team.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the Operations Department in line with our Legal Entity Management activities.
  • Manage the accounts receivable subledger, including collecting information, recording and sending invoices (or uploading them on vendors platforms), recording payments, reconciling accounts, and tracking outstanding amounts.
  • Ensure that all receivables are accurately and completely invoiced.
  • Manage bank accounts related to our legal entity management activities, including recording incoming and outgoing payments and reconciling balances.
  • Support the Finance department with various ad hoc activities.
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
  • Perform duties in line with established standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Keep up to date with job-related knowledge and best practices.

Studies - Qualifications

A degree in Accounting or Finance

Languages

Fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional language skills would be a plus.

IT Skills

IT literate. At ease using Office suite, SharePoint and web-based tools.

Experience

2 - 4 years of professional experience.

Other

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to details and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Interest in working in an international environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
