Supply Chain Officer

The United Basalt Products Ltd is seeking to recruit Supply Chain Officer for its Engineering Department’s Supply Chain Section. The recruit may have to travel to other sites and may not be solely based at Geoffroy Road, Bambous, depending on the business and clients’ needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct stock replenishment/adhere to inventory control policies & procedures
• Conduct stocktake in the stores/sub stores to detect any discrepancies
• Contribute to supplier management
• Perform delivery at counter/stores/sub stores
• Perform process of preparation of order
• Participate actively in department’s daily activities
• Analyse data, generate regular reports on key SC performance metrics
• Provide desired level of service to stakeholders
• Learn from/ Collaborate/ Assist team members, for proper operations of the department
• Ensure that all health and safety measures are implemented and adhered to

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS tools
• 1 - 3 years’ experience
• Knowledge of parts and equipment
• Excellent communication skills, both in English and French
• Holder of a valid driving licence
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment standards
