Provides exceptional service, manages a section, and ensures guests enjoy a seamless dining experience.
Job Responsibilties:
- Welcomes guests, takes orders, serves food and beverage as per Hotel standards and procedure;
- Sets up tables and working area as per Hotel standards and procedure;
- Dispatches daily tasks, allocates working area to other Chefs de Rang and subordinates and ensures all tasks have been achieved before closing, and/or assists in such dispatch or allocation;
- Maintains and upkeeps cleanliness of working areas and all equipment and material
Candidate Profile:
- School Certificate or equivalent;
- A NC Level 4 in Restaurant & Bar Services from Mauritius Institute of Training and Development or equivalent;
- Previous working experience would be an advantage;
- Good communication skills and organisational ability;
- Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
- Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
- Should be well discipline, serious, reliable and fully committed to the job;
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
