FREIGHT IMPORT & EXPORT OFFICER (AIR & SEA)

Coordinating with concerned stakeholders, monitoring and optimizing the movement of goods from origin to destination. To ensures shipments are transported in compliance with customer requirements, carrier regulations, and company policies, while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Shipment Coordination
-Tariff Negotiations & sales quotations
-Plan, schedule, and track import/export freight shipments (air, and/or sea).
-Prepare and review shipping documents
-Liaise with shippers, carriers, airlines, coloaders, NVOCCs, customers) to ensure timely pickup and delivery.

Operational Management
	•	Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or issues.
	•	Optimize freight routes and modes of transportation to balance speed and cost.
	•	Ensure accurate data entry and recordkeeping in logistics systems.

Customer Service
	•	Provide shipment updates and resolve inquiries in a professional manner

Skills & Competencies
	•	Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and freight industry terminology.
	•	Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
	•	Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
	•	Familiarity with Incoterms, customs clearance, and import/export procedures is a plus.

Experience:

•	1+ year of experience in freight, logistics, or transportation operations.
