Estimator

Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to build your career in project estimation? We are looking for an Estimator to join JMD’s dynamic team and contribute to submission of quotations and production files.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send quotation requests to customers.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of Bills of Quantities.
• Interpret project drawings and documentation for accurate costing.
• Support in pricing site instructions, variations, and extra works.
• Collect and compile cost data for reporting and control purposes.
• Prepare and provide materials list and production files.
• Work closely with Draughtsman for coordination of shop drawings and production drawings.

Profile

• A diploma or equivalent, preferably with strong numerical aptitude
• 1 year of experience in estimation or technical role (internship or training experience may be accepted).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic knowledge of quotation or cost estimation software.
• CAD system knowledge would be an advantage.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.
