QA TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a QA Technician to join our knitting team. The main role is to check fabric quality during and after production, carry out fabric testing, and maintain records. The ideal candidate should understand fabric structures and be able to follow production sheets accurately.

What You'll Do:

• Work with digital tools to enter and record test date
• Understand different types of fabric structures and parameters
• Read and interpret production sheets
• Compared knitted fabric to hanger samples
• Measure stitch length
• Calculate yaen input (L.F.A) using a stitch length tester
• Verify yarn count
• Measure courses and wales of fabric
• Check weight and width of grey fabric and attach unravelled samples to the checklist
• Perform wash tests
• Check weight and width after washing dyed fabric
• measure courses and Wales after wash
• Record all test results and attach fabric samples (grey, dyed, washed) to the checklist
• Get approvals when needed from QA Officer, Technical and Knitting Leaders
• Prepare hanger samples
• Record all entries and results properly
