This role involves developing and implementing strategies to build, engage, and maintain positive relationships with our community, stakeholders, and target audiences.

 

Duties and Responsibiliites:

  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies to build strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
  • Assist to promote events, workshops, and outreach programs to increase community participation and awareness of the Lifestyle & Hospitality Cluster vision and goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community members and partners, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, including community leaders, organizations, volunteers, and local businesses.
  • Plan and coordinate awareness campaigns, social media content, and newsletters to promote engagement and share relevant updates with different stakeholders.
  • Create and manage content that aligns with the Lifestyle & Hospitality cluster values, ensuring it resonates with different community groups.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure that community needs are understood and reflected in different initiatives.
  • Track community engagement efforts and evaluate the impact of various activities
  • Provide regular reports and insights to management on the effectiveness of community outreach and engagement strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).in Economic studies, Hotel/Hospitality Management or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ proven experience in a similar role.

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good planning skills and Optimum communication to Team and reporting Line
  • Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

  • Honest, hard worker with high professional ethic
