Client Manager

 

Our client is looking for a Client Manager to join their team. The Client Manager is part of a team of client managers and administrators involved in the management and administration of client entities (trusts and companies registered in multiple jurisdiction). The Client Manager takes charge of a portfolio of clients and is responsible for understanding the various requirements & obligations, and efficiently delivering the required entity management and administration services to the clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking charge of portfolio of clients, and proactively understand each client’s requirements, obligations, activities across multiple jurisdictions
  • Performing numerous of tasks for clients, including activities regarding the establishment, management and administration of trusts and companies, and ongoing transactions for investments/divestments, compliance, and general operations of the clients
  • Responsible for and maintenance of client relationship by achieving a high quality of service, excellent communication, and facilitating delivery of service proactively and efficiently
  • Monitor client activities, and ensure that all duties and responsibilities are fulfilled diligently
  • Ensuring adherence to Mauritius Company law and FSC regulations, as well as internal controls and procedures, including ensuring that regulatory submissions are completed timeously
  • Liaising with the Regulator, local authorities, Registrar of Companies and bankers, and maintenance of relationship with counter parties
  • Oversight of and providing support to team, including providing leadership, guidance, and technical support to team members, setting work objectives and timelines for team members, and monitoring activities of team to ensure tasks are completed within set timelines
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (written and oral)
  • Degree or Chartered Governance Institute/STEP
  • Well conversant with compliance, company secretarial and corporate administrative matters (companies, trusts, partnerships, foundations, CIS)
  • Understanding of accounting principles, including ability to interpret financial information
  • Ability to work as a team and motivate and lead team members
  • Highly motivated with good attitude and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working independently and be able to meet strict deadlines.

Salary:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Package includes medical scheme and a discretionary performance bonus.
