A New Kitchen is being launched and we are looking for skilled, reliable Head Cook. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and leading the kitchen team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and continuously improve menu
- Organise food tasting with management
- To monitor cost, budget and communicate ideas
- Cook, run and manage a small kitchen efficiently
- Assist in recruiting additional kitchen staff
- Supervise and train cooks and kitchen helper
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and food safety
- Maintain quality, taste and presentation standard
- Prepare requisition, purchase, manage stock and kitchen supplies
- Any other cognate duties.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Head Cook or Senior Cook
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Ability to organise, plan, and lead a team
- Punctual, independent, honest, reliable and result-oriented
- Committed to delivering consistent food quality and service
Working Hours: 10 a.m to 9.00 p.m
Off Days: 5 days per month as per roster
