Lead Merchandiser

The merchandiser will manage product displays and stock across two sites (Tribeca & Trianon), report on sales trends, attend meetings, and work independently with minimal supervision. Weekly guidance and inventory tasks will be provided by the management team.

Main Mission:

The primary mission of the merchandiser will be to operate on-site at our client’s location. The merchandiser will be responsible for overseeing activities across two sites : Tribeca and Trianon. The management team will provide guidance on the weekly schedule, and the merchandiser may also be required to attend weekly meetings as advised.

Moreover, the merchandiser will be responsible for arranging products on shelves in an appealing and strategic manner to attract customers and encourage purchases. They will also be tasked with replenishing shelves by picking stock from the shop store. Furthermore, the merchandiser will provide a weekly report on fast-moving and slow-moving items and conduct inventory checks upon request

We are primarily looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Daily Tasks:

• Arrange products on shelves
• Ensure product visibility, proper labelling, and cleanliness of display areas.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves are well-stocked.
• Conduct shelf audits and suggest adjustments when needed.
• Verify product deliveries and ensure consistency between stock and display.
• Suggest improvements for product placement or promotional displays.
• Assist in special promotions, sales events, and product launches.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to anticipate restocking needs.

Required Experience :

Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising for non-food products in supermarkets or retail chains

Education:

• Diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.

Driver’s License:

• Required – must be able to travel to client locations or stores.

Software/Tools:

• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and mobile reporting tools

Salary: 27K basic + allowance + incentive
