About the Role As a P&C Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of Human Resources – from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compensation, and training.
Assist in identifying manpower needs and preparing job postings in collaboration with the P&C Coordinator.
Support the recruitment process by screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
Assist in organizing and facilitating new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
Learn about employee file management and contract preparation.
Support the planning of employee welfare and engagement initiatives (e.g., birthdays, sports day, wellness activities).
Assist in collecting feedback and suggestions to enhance employee satisfaction and workplace culture.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive workplace atmosphere.
Coordinate training logistics such as room booking, materials preparation, and attendance tracking.
Help maintain training records and identify training needs with department heads.
Assist in maintaining up-to-date employee records (both digital and physical).
Support the preparation and maintenance of HR documentation such as SOPs and employee handbooks.
Help monitor HR expenses and assist with budget tracking for departmental activities.
Observe and understand local labor laws and company HR policies.
Assist with compliance checklists and support documentation for audits.
Shadow and learn how workplace grievances and employee issues are handled.
Support in organizing documentation related to expatriate onboarding (e.g., permits, housing).
Learn about the administration of medical insurance and private pension schemes.
Support People & Culture initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, such as digital HR processes, reducing paper use, and promoting eco-friendly office practices.
Participate in cross-departmental sustainability projects or campaigns when applicable.
Encourage employee involvement in community outreach and environmental responsibility programs.
Help document and track HR-related sustainability metrics and assist with reporting efforts.
Champion inclusivity, ethical labor practices, and Oceans Creek’s broader sustainability mission in day-to-day work.
Gain practical experience in core HR functions within a structured and supportive environment.
Develop interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Recent graduate or final-year student in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
