Carer

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high-quality support and assistance to an elderly individual in their day-to-day life. The ideal candidate will be attentive, respectful, and genuinely committed to promoting the health, comfort, and dignity of the person in their care.

Key Responsibilities

Amongst others, the main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care, including assistance with showering, personal hygiene, and dressing

• Administering prescribed medication accurately and on time

• Monitoring the overall health and wellbeing of the person in care and reporting any concerns

• Assisting with daily household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation

• Maintaining accurate records of care and daily activities

• Offering emotional support and meaningful companionship

• Ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of the elderly person’s room and personal space

Profile and Skills Required

• Prior experience in a similar caregiving role is preferred

• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and a caring attitude

• Good communication and observational skills

• Basic understanding of medication management (training can be provided)

• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of confidentiality

• Ability to work independently and adapt to different situations
