We’re a leading Investor Services group offering end-to-end services in administration, accounting, reporting, regulatory and compliance needs of the investment sector worldwide.

 

Job Summary

A mid-level accounting position responsible for delivering comprehensive corporate accounting services with minimal supervision. This role handles both low and medium complexity clients, focusing on core accounting processes. The position requires independent execution of established procedures while maintaining quality and timeliness standards in financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Handle low to moderate complexity accounting tasks independently
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned deliverables
  • Build knowledge of client requirements and industry practices
  • Apply relevant accounting standards and requirements
  • Seek feedback and training for professional development
  • Support team members and assist in basic client communication

Tasks

  • Monitor and manage assigned mailboxes
  • Perform periodic bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • Gather and maintain source documents and records
  • Post journal entries and ensure accurate recording of transactions
  • Prepare working schedules and working papers
  • Attend and assist with audit queries
  • Prepare and compile data for tax/VAT filings
  • Prepare financial statements, and other deliverables using prescribed guidelines
  • Prepare or assist in preparation of periodic and annual accounts
  • Perform self-review of all deliverables
  • Address moderate complexity accounting queries independently
  • Escalate questions and issues to senior team members
  • Assist in regulatory reporting activities
  • Address review comments from reviewers/clusters promptly
  • Use prescribed guidelines to analyze and resolve problems
  • Complete and sign off required checklists
  • Conduct self-reviews to maintain quality standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned for role and business needs

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field or ACCA Level 1 or ACA Professional

Experience:

  • 2 yrs of experience Corporate accounting
