Leal & Co Ltd is hiring a Cashier for its Finance department.
MAIN FUNCTION:
- Receive payments on invoices by cash, cheque, and credit card and issue receipts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that receipts are systematically processed for all payments done by customers.
- Prepare daily sales records for all payments received.
- Responsible to remit daily sales proceeds and supporting documents to the Accounting department.
- Fill the banking lodgement book properly and accurately.
- Report immediately any cash till discrepancy to Management.
- To courteously assist customers at the reception.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- HSC with Accounting
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
- Good communication skills
- Strong team spirit
- Computer literate and well versed with accounting software
