Tailor

A professional, skilled, and service-oriented Tailor to manage tailoring services for hotel guests and staff. This role also involves supporting laundry operations by operating various commercial laundry machines and assisting in sorting and processing soiled linens.

• To have an eye for details and maintain a high level of cleanliness & hygiene

      ·      Perform high-quality alterations and repairs on guests’ garments, staff uniforms, and hotel linens.

      ·     Take accurate measurements and ensure garments are tailored to the required specifications.

      ·    Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship, ensuring garments are delivered clean, pressed, and on time.

• To do requisition of type of cloth,thred,etc…

      ·    Repair damaged items such as uniforms, curtains, and bed linens.

      ·    Keep records of tailoring jobs received and completed.

      ·    Maintain sewing equipment and tools in good condition.

      ·    Coordinate with the housekeeping and front office departments for guest tailoring requests.

Laundry Support Duties:

• Operate commercial laundry equipment including:
• Washing machines
• Dryer
• Calender (flatwork ironing) machines
• Steam irons
• • Assist in the separation and sorting of soiled linens and uniforms received from guest rooms and various hotel departments.
  • Monitor laundry cycles to ensure correct handling of fabric types and prevent damage.
  • Help in folding, pressing, and organizing clean linens and uniforms.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the laundry area.
  • Report any malfunctioning equipment or damaged linens to the Laundry Supervisor.

  Working Conditions:
