Technician (Electronic Appliances)

Repair and service of white goods

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair of home appliances at customer premises or workshop. (Repair and service of white goods)
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions using tools and technical knowledge.
• Provide after-sales support and respond promptly to service calls.
• Educate customers on the correct usage, care, and maintenance of appliances.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers or technical support teams when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and vehicle (if applicable).
• Report recurring issues or faulty components to supervisors for resolution.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Appliance Repair (or equivalent).
• Proven experience (2+ years) in white goods servicing and repair.
• Good knowledge of domestic appliance brands and models.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driving license (if field service is required).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
