Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa is currently seeking for dynamic, motivated and talented " Assistant Outlet Manager" to join its F&B team. If you are looking for an exciting challenge, this opportunity is just for you !
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that the restaurant operate efficiently and profitably while maintaining their reputation and ethos
- Must coordinate a variety of activities and is responsible for business performance at the beach/ lounge
- Maintaining high standards of food, service, health and safety
- Estimates food and beverage costs, prepares requisitions or purchases supplies, equipment, food and beverages
- When necessary works with the team to ensure that there are no delays during service
- Investigates and resolves food & beverage quality and service complaints
- Assists the F&B manager in hiring, assignment, training and motivation of personnel
- Coordinating the entire operation of the beach and lounge during scheduled shifts
- Managing and motivating staff throughout their shift and provide them with feedback
- Assisting the F&B manager to review financial transactions, prepare and monitor budgets to ensure efficient operation and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations
- Ensures that the team demonstrate the highest standards of guest care and welcome in the beach/lounge
- Will be required to ensure that all staff within his or her department are adequately trained, develop training procedures, drinks recipes and best practices as well as actively guide and direct the whole team to ensure consistency of brand standards and a high level of performance and service delivery
- Assists the F&B Manager with all restaurant operation when necessary
- Assumes all duties given to him by the F&B Manager
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Previous Hospitality and Catering industry experience working as Beach/Lounge Manager– 3 years of work experience in Food & Beverage gained from a 5 star international property, along with 3 year experience in a similar role an advantage.
- Good attitude and great personality
- Dynamic, young and energetic with similar experience and able to structure outlets
- Experience in F&B department in Hotel Industry (in charge of different F&B outlets - Beach/Lounge)
- Strong technical knowledge
- Analytic oriented / able to make report and analysis to improve on different levels
- Professional appearance
- Computer skills (excel, email, MICROS,)
- Must be able to communicate in English and French language and a third language is an advantage.
- Current holder of a valid certificate of character / Food handler certificate
- Priorities will be given to vaccinated candidates.
