As part of the new organization at Hardy Henry Services Ltee, the Supply Chain department has led to the creation of an exciting new job position which is the “Fleet Officer”.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the stocktake deployment & vehicle checklist on mobile | Stocktake pivot table / Reporting for operations vehicle BU.
- Ensure spare vehicle planning for operations Business Units.
- Be the point of contact for Suppliers’ follow-up for any additional support regarding Outdoor Escape, Fibre Marine, & Support caisse.
- Emergency point of contact in case of accidents and insurance follow-up.
- Be the point of contact for Servicing/repair of vehicle ABC motors & Axess, FDS, Artisan mecanique, ADA, GBR & Jocelyn or through Fleet Manager, [Appointment, Collection and invoice receipt].
- Be contact for GPS installation, and follow-up with the suppliers as per Fleeti software.
- Attend institution [NTA, Police] for any statutory related issues on behalf of Hardy Henry Services Ltee and report to the corresponding BU/department.
- Administer company’s fleet of vehicles with regards to fuel consumptions, credit cards, repairs and maintenance and any other motor vehicle running expense and prepare regular reports as required.
- Compile and maintain up-to-date records of accidents for company vehicles and tally with the monthly insurance claims listings.
- Report any discrepancies in the vehicle insurance claims.
- To scrutinize the vehicles of operations and sales on a regular basis, and inform Management of any matter or discrepancy which necessitate attention including damage, accident etc.
- Provide support to Management in ensuring that on time, quality and cost-effective purchases are made for company’s vehicles.
- Provide administrative support with regards to purchase and disposal of vehicles.
- Keep records of vehicles’ fleet expenses.
Qualifications/Skills/Competencies:
- HSC/Diploma in the field of fleet management
- Experience in fleet management would be an advantage.
- Good Geographical knowledge
- Mechanical skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English and French.
- Computer Literate
- Dynamic, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Willingness to work odd hours
- A valid & clean driving licence of both Motorcycle and MV & certificate of character is mandatory.
- Preparing of work orders and signing off before any vehicles are sent to the garage for routine maintenance /repairs or accidental repair
- Handle all requests, claims and complaints; resolve issues in a quick and efficient manner.
