Core Network Assistant

Emtel is looking for a Core Network Assistant to support the planning, design, implementation, validation and optimization Emtel’s Core Network (CS/PS/Fixed). The successful candidate will contribute to achieving departmental and organizational business objectives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:                                     

• Monitor and improve the Core Network KPIs
• Support the planning, design, implementation, validation and optimization Emtel’s Core Network (CS/PS/Fixed)
• Implement projects for Core Network as per business requirements for new deployment/expansions/modifications
• Ensure business continuity by minimizing service disruptions
• Ensure Core Network configuration documents and plans are updated with changes made on the core systems

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science or a related field
• Cisco/CCNA certification will be an advantage
• Knowledge on current network routing protocols and standards, mobile (2G/3G/4G/5G), Fixed Access, and evolving network strategies such as IMS, VoLTE, RCS, and 5G will be an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiar with Microsoft products
• Team oriented person
