Mission

To manage and oversee all daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient space utilization, on-time order fulfilment, and safe working conditions.

The role is key to ensure smooth supply chain flow.

Main responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee receiving, storage and dispatch activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
  • Optimize warehouse(s) layout and space utilisation
  • Coordinate with logistics for outgoing deliveries
  • Keep the warehouse, all finished goods’ storage areas, and surrounding spaces clean and well-organised at all times
  • Responsible for the safekeeping of all Warehouse assets

 Inventory Management

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through daily, monthly and annual stock takes
  • Implement FIFO/FEFO principles for stock rotation
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

 Team Leadership

  • Manage, train and supervise the warehouse team
  • Ensure clear daily task assignment and monitor performance
  • Organize and plan local leaves, permissions, record sick leaves, lateness etc…
  • Generate all entries and corrections on Ursula – attendance / lateness / leaves of packing department’s employees
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement

 Health and Safety Compliance

  • Enforce all safety protocols (PPE use, forklift safety…)
  • Ensure health and safety standards are respected
  • Conduct with the assistance of the QSHE Officer toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Report incidents and near misses promptly

 Process Improvement and Reporting

  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare weekly/monthly reports for Management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements

 General Assistance

  • Performing any other cognate duties assigned by the management

 Profile:

  • Degree supply chain/logistics or equivalent
  • At least 8 years in a similar position
