Reporting to the Senior Chef, The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
What you will be doing:
- Assist in food preparation, following recipes and portion sizes accurately.
- Ensure ingredients are properly cleaned, chopped, and ready for cooking.
- Support the Head Chef in cooking, plating, and presenting dishes.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by following hygiene standards and HACCP guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and monitor inventory levels.
- Help with kitchen setup and closing, ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for the next shift.
What we're looking for:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position.
- Education: At least a secondary education with an NC3 in Food production
- Culinary Interest: A passion for cooking and learning in a professional kitchen.
- Hygiene Focus: Strong understanding of hygiene standards and HACCP guidelines.
- Grooming: Well-presented with a neat and professional appearance.
- Training: We will provide on-the-job training to ensure you succeed!
