Our client, a leading real estate development and management company, is seeking to recruit a proactive candidate for the post of Operations Manager. The incumbent will report directly to the Chief Operations & Asset Officer and Head of Finance.
Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support the overall mission of operations of the village.
- Monitor daily operations across various departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate operational workflows and make recommendations for enhancements to improve service delivery.
Team Management:
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
Budget Management:
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, ensuring that all operational needs and objectives are adequately funded.
- Monitor budgetary performance throughout the year, tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost control.
- Provide regular financial reports to the Chief Operations & Assets Officer, highlighting variances and proposing corrective actions.
Process Improvement:
- Conduct thorough analyses of existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining workflows, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to continually improve service delivery and operational performance.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that all operational activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain risk management protocols to identify potential operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact operations.
Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive reports on operational performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Chief Operations & Assets Officer and other stakeholders.
- Utilize data analysis tools to track progress and generate insights for decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between various teams to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
- Represent the organization in meetings with stakeholders, addressing concerns and fostering collaboration.
Project Management:
- Lead special projects as directed by the Chief Operations & Assets Officer, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Evaluate project outcomes and document lessons learned to improve future project management practices.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in fields such as Business Administration, Property Management, or Hospitality Management or engineering degree.
- Candidates should preferably have several years of experience in operations management, preferably within the estate management or real estate sector.
Working Conditions:
- This position require after-hours work or during weekends to assist in addressing urgent technical issues or attending to meetings.
