Our client, a legal firm in Port Louis, is seeking a reliable and well-organized Receptionist / Personal Assistant to support daily administrative operations.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, while also providing vital assistance in handling office duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
Draft and format letters, legal documents, and correspondence as required
File legal applications and other necessary paperwork with accuracy and timeliness
Attend court sessions as required to support case proceedings or deliver documents
Manage and update calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
Maintain and update case management software with relevant case information and timelines
Perform general administrative and office support tasks as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in a legal or administrative setting is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
