Position Title: Accountant / Junior Accountant

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant / Junior Accountant to join  its our team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and budgets on a periodic basis.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Handle tax preparation, filing, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audit processes.
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and ensure systems are up to date.
  • Coordinate with other departments for financial matters and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Min. 5 years of experience in business accounting.
  • Minimum qualification: ACCA Level 2.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential.
  • Strong computer literacy and good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry will be an advantage.

Other Information:

  • Candidates residing in the Northern region are preferred.
  • Immediate availability would be an advantage.
