Accounting Trainee

We are looking for a committed Accounting Trainee to join the Finance team based at Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa.

Overview of the role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Trainee to join our finance team for 5 months at Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa.

-The position will be based at Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa.

 This traineeship of 5 months is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the trainee will assist in daily accounting tasks and other essential accounting functions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Daily banking (MUR & Forex)
• Reconciliation of FO Reports (Credit card/Forex/paid out)
• SOA Reconciliation
• Cheque Preparation
• Follow up on creditors
• Others tasks assigned

Candidate's Profile:

• Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
• Candidate should have a background in finance.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Computer literate
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in the North
