Accounts Officer

Chue Wing & Company Limid (ABC Foods) is a leader in FMCG distribution in Mauritius and a major Division of the ABC Group of companies. ABC Foods is looking for a dynamic Accounts Officer to join our team and who shall report to the Accountant.

Key Duties:

• Supervise and ensure works of Accounts Clerks are being done as per procedures
• Ensure timely record of financial transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist in reconciliation of stock counts and stock variances enquiries.
• Assist in preparation of management accounts and month end closure.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform supplier statements reconciliations.
• Ensure that suppliers payments are done and processed on ERP system on a timely basis.
• Reconciliation of control accounts.
• Update of Fixed Assets Register
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal control procedures.

• Hands-on experience in MS Office. Knowledge in Oracle NetSuite and Power BI would be an advantage

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum ACCA Level 2 or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 3 years’ experience in related field, preferably in the FMCG sector or a fast-growing environment
