Position: IT Support Engineer

Position overview:

Are you passionate about technology and solving problems? We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping clients get the most out of their IT systems.

In this role, you will support and troubleshoot Microsoft environments, from Windows 11 workstations to Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations for our customers. You will be at the forefront of incident resolution, system optimization, and service delivery, working closely with clients and team members to provide a reliable, secure, and high-quality support experience.

Responsibilities:

·       Provide first- and second-line technical support for Microsoft-based environments, including Windows workstations and server platforms.

·       Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to:

o   Windows 11 workstations

o   Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025

o   Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)

o   Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS and related infrastructure services

 

·       Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring compliance with security and operational requirements.

·       Support identity and access management activities, including user provisioning, account maintenance, and GPO troubleshooting.

·       Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and user lifecycle management.

·       Troubleshoot email and messaging issues, including mail flow, Outlook connectivity, and mailbox access.

·       Perform routine system monitoring, health checks, patching, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

·       Collaborate with senior engineers and technical specialists to resolve complex incidents and service requests.

·       Maintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and knowledge base articles in accordance with support processes.

·       Deliver a professional customer experience by providing clear, timely, and effective communication throughout the support lifecycle.

·       Contribute to continuous service improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending preventive solutions.

Requirements:

v Education:

v Microsoft certifications as per below will be an advantage:

o   MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator)

o   MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator)

o   AZ-800 (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator)

v Experience:

v 2-4 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or System Administration

v Proven experience working in Windows-based environments

v Hands-on exposure to Active Directory administration and end-user support

v Experience in troubleshooting technical issues in a customer-facing environment

v Nice to have:

·        Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required)

Additional technical skills (advantageous):

·       Basic PowerShell scripting

·       Azure / Entra ID administration basics

·       Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

·       Good communication skills with end users and clients

·       Customer-service mindset

·       Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

·       Ability to innovate and think creatively to address complex business challenges.
