Job Description
Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that drive real business impact? We are looking for a Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and play a key role in shaping data-driven decision-making across credit risk, customer strategy, and portfolio optimisation.
About the Role
In
this role, you will work with a wide range of internal and external data to
generate actionable insights that enhance business performance, improve
customer outcomes, and strengthen risk management practices. You will
contribute to the development of advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions
while supporting the continuous improvement of credit strategies and portfolio
performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analysing large,
complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
- Building
dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools to support business
decision-making
- Translating
business questions into clear analytical frameworks and recommendations
- Monitoring and
improving the performance of credit scorecards, risk models, and decision
strategies
- Evaluating credit
policies, underwriting criteria, and portfolio health metrics
- Supporting testing
initiatives (e.g. champion–challenger models) and tracking outcomes
- Contributing to
the implementation and review of scorecard and strategy enhancements
- Ensuring data
accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple sources
- Collaborating with
cross-functional teams to enhance data availability and governance
- Exploring and
applying AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics techniques
- Developing
proof-of-concept solutions to improve automation and efficiency
- Presenting
insights in a clear and engaging way to both technical and non-technical
audiences
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in
Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Computer
Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical
experience
- 2–5 years’
experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role
- Experience in
financial services, banking, fintech, lending, or insurance is an
advantage
- Knowledge of
credit risk analytics, scorecards, predictive modelling, or portfolio
analysis is beneficial
- Strong analytical
thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to
communicate insights clearly and collaborate effectively across teams
