Job Description
To lead the strategy, development, and execution of smart infrastructure and IoT-based products including building management, parking solutions, energy monitoring, and air conditioning control systems. The Product Manager ensures product-market fit, supports presales engagements, and drives adoption and growth across target market segments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and maintain the product vision and strategic roadmap for Smart Infrastructure & IoT solutions.
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer interviews to guide product evolution.
- Align product direction with company objectives and revenue goals.
2. Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Collaborate with R&D/engineering partners (internal or third-party) to translate business requirements into functional specs.
- Evaluate and enhance current offerings based on feedback and technology trends.
- Evaluate different products from different suppliers and advise on best technology partners.
3. Presales & Solution POCs
- Support the Sales team during client presentations and demos by acting as the product expert.
- Design solution proposals based on client needs and infrastructure.
- Work out proof of concepts for both internal and external use.
- Respond to technical queries and RFPs with tailored responses.
4. Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution
- Coordinate with Marketing to develop product positioning, messaging, brochures, and campaigns.
- Define launch plans for new features or products.
- Train Sales, Marketing, Implementation, and Support teams on new offerings.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collect and synthesize feedback from clients, sales teams, and support to prioritize features.
- Engage with suppliers and technology partners to ensure alignment with product goals.
6. Performance & Adoption Tracking
- Monitor product adoption metrics, client usage, and satisfaction.
- Recommend improvement or sunsetting strategies for underperforming features and products.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & SKILLS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in Product Management, IoT, or Business.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in product management or solution consulting in IoT, facilities tech, or smart city applications.
Strong technical understanding of sensors, IoT platforms, and building management systems.
Ability to translate market needs into technical specifications.
Presales and client-facing experience is a strong advantage.
Project management, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership.
